Stakeholder Dialogue on Community Conditions – CRRF Distribution Planning Meeting
The State of Maryland has adopted emergency regulations requiring each jurisdiction to develop a Community Reinvestment and Repair Fund (CRRF) Distribution Plan to help guide future use of CRRF funds. The regulations provide more specific direction regarding the purpose of the fund, define low-income communities for planning and outreach purposes, and require stakeholder engagement and a public hearing before the plan is adopted.

This stakeholder gathering is an opportunity to help inform Talbot County's initial CRRF Distribution Plan. Discussion will focus on the community conditions, needs, and approaches that should help guide future CRRF investments in Talbot County. The meeting represents an early step in an ongoing community-informed planning process.

Community partners, residents, and other interested members of the public are welcome to attend.

Meeting location: Talbot County Free Library at 100 W. Dover Street, Easton.

TO ATTEND, REGISTER HERE. Lunch will be provided.

The Talbot County Council will subsequently hold a public hearing at their regular September 8, 2026 meeting. This will be an additional opportunity for community members to offer input and comment on Talbot County's inaugural Distribution Plan.
