Position Reporting: Deputy Director
Summary:
Reporting to the Deputy Director, the Audit and Training Assistant ensures the continued custody and control of all documents and materials that are required by the Maryland Correctional Standards Commission.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops and maintains departmental forms and documents.
- Oversees support services activities, i.e. maintenance, medical, etc.
- Ensures all documentation is complete and correct.
- Ensures that all reports are done in a timely manner.
- Instructs/directs Officers how paperwork needs to be completed to satisfy the correctional standards.
- Duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High School or GED
- Must have completed the Duly Authorized Inspector training.
- Must have experience and ability to write acceptable reports and work orders that are required from the Maryland Correctional Standards Commission.
- Ability to carry out detailed orders.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and contractual personnel.

Employees work under typical office conditions, and the noise level is moderately quiet.
