  • Bilingual Pay

    Employees that can demonstrate conversational language proficiency through a testing process will receive added compensation annually.

  • Employee Referral Bonus

    Employees that refer a candidate for employment with Talbot County Government will receive a monetary bonus.

  • Credit Union

    The services of the State Employees Credit Union (SECU) of Maryland are available to County employees. 

  • Tuition Reimbursement Policy

    Full-time Employees are eligible to seek additional education to enhance their job knowledge, skills, and abilities.

  • Paid Time Off

    All full-time employees are entitled to paid holidays, vacation, sick, and personal days.

  • Life Insurance

    At no cost to the employee, life insurance coverage is provided to all active, regular full-time employees. Each eligible employee receives life insurance benefit coverage effective on the first day of the month following the date of hire.

  • Health & Dental Insurance

    Effective the first day of the month following the date of hire, full-time employees are entitled to participate in the health and dental insurance coverage.
