Opioid Restitution Fund
The FY 2025 Opioid Restitution Fund Community Micro Grant Program allows organizations to apply for one-time grants ranging from $1,000 to $20,000 to be used by June 30, 2026.
Application Requirements
Non-profit organizations with active 501(c)3 status and in good financial standing seeking the County Council’s consideration to request Community Opioid Restitution funding must submit a formal letter of interest. At a minimum, the letter shall:
- Identify the amount of funding being requested
- Provide a justification and who will benefit from the funds
- Illustrate the scope of work
- Provide a summary of how the proposed funding will be used to address the needs of the identified objective(s).
- Describe how the grant funds will quantify the project’s success.
Funding can support initiatives such as:
- School education campaigns to prevent opioid use
- Evidence-based overdose prevention and substance use treatment
- Crisis response systems, safe stations, and stabilization centers

Applications are due at Friday, February 21, 2025, at 3 p.m. Late submissions will not be accepted.
