Community Emergency Response Team (CERT)
Talbot County’s Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) is made up of trained volunteers who step in to support first responders during emergencies and help prepare the community before disaster strikes. From assisting with storm response and traffic control to staffing community events and teaching preparedness skills, CERT members play a vital role in keeping our county safe and resilient.

CLASS DATES February 23rd-April 6th
This free disaster preparedness program, hosted by Talbot County Department of Emergency Services (DES), equips residents with essential skills to care for themselves, their families, and their neighbors during emergencies until professional responders arrive.
