Talbot Day
On April 19, 1983, the Talbot County Council unanimously proclaimed April 25 as the official birthday of Talbot County. Forty years later, in 2023, the Council reaffirmed that tradition by declaring April 25 as “Talbot Day”—a celebration of the county’s founding and a renewed commitment to honoring its legacy.
This year, Talbot Day grows into a full weekend of events marking 365 years of history, heritage, and the people who shape and strengthen our community.
