Dave Stepp

DAVE STEPP is serving his first term on the Talbot County Council. Dave SteppMr. Stepp is a lifelong Marylander.  He and his wife Lori have two wonderful children and have been proud Maryland small business owners since 2003. He earned his Associate’s Degree from Anne Arundel Community College, Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Maryland, and his MBA from the University of Maryland - where he graduated with honors and gained entry into the Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society.  In 1999, Mr. Stepp began his ongoing career in telecommunications holding various sales and management positions.  He continues to serve as a youth sports coach and mentor - a role he has served for more than a decade in Talbot County. Currently, Mr. Stepp is an Assistant Coach of the Saints Peter and Paul Varsity baseball team, Co-Scoutmaster of St. Michaels Boy Scout Troop 741, Committee Member in Easton Boy Scout Troop 1091 (an all-girls troop), and a volunteer with the Easton Icehawks youth ice hockey organization. Previously, Mr. Stepp served as a Coach, Vice President, and Board Member of Easton Little League, as well as Coach, Vice President, and Founding Board Member of Talbot Softball Little League.  He has also volunteered as both a Character Counts Coach and Destination Imagination Coach at St. Michaels Elementary School, served as a multi-year Fishing Derby volunteer at the Waterfowl Festival, and coached T-Ball at the Easton YMCA.  Mr. Stepp serves as the County Council's liaison to the Emergency Services Advisory Board, Local Emergency Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and Weed Control Committee.
