Administrative Services
Under the direction of the Director of Administrative Services, the department coordinates and is responsible for the daily administrative affairs of the County Government operations.
Corrections
The Department of Corrections provides for the public safety by the detention and confinement of arrestees, pretrial detainees and convicted offenders in safe and secure facilities; monitors alternatives to incarceration; and prepares incarcerated individuals for community reentry.
Office of County Manager
The Office of the County Manager assists with administrative management of the Legislative Branch, manages Departments and coordinates with partner Agencies, and promotes County news.
Easton Airport
Easton Airport (ESN) is a general aviation airport, owned and operated by Talbot County. It provides essential access for aviation enthusiasts, corporate and business pilots, and emergency services.
Economic Development
The Office of Economic Development supports business and serves as a catalyst for business growth in Talbot County.
Emergency Services
The Office of Emergency Management ensures that the County Government and the public are prepared for any emergency. We manage the County's response to major emergencies and coordinate with all relevant County, State and Federal departments, offices and leadership and maintain strong partnerships with other jurisdictions.
Facilities
Facilities maintains and repairs County owned and operated buildings that house County Departments, Partner Agencies, and other organizations.
Finance
The Finance Department bills and collects County revenues, oversees expenditure of funds in accordance with approved budgets, invests County funds, issues County debt, and provides financial services to County departments and offices.
Hog Neck Golf Course
The Hog Neck Golf Course features an 18-hole golf course, driving range, and more, owned and operated by Talbot County.
Office of Law
The Office of Law is administered by the County Attorney under the direct authority of the County Council. The County Attorney is the chief legal officer of the County, conducts all of the law business of the County and is the legal advisor and legislative draftsman for the Council. The County Attorney represents the County in all legal actions in which the County is a party. Generally, the Office of Law represents all County boards and commissions.

The Department of Recreation and Parks creates opportunities to enjoy life, explore nature and restore health and well-being.
Permits and Inspections
Permits and Inspections protects health, safety and general welfare of the citizens of Talbot County though the administration and enforcement of building codes in Talbot County.
Planning and Zoning
Planning and Zoning plans the overall physical development and growth of the County, updates and enforces the zoning code, and administers the subdivision and development regulations.
Public Works
Public Works provides services to enhance wastewater treatment, to efficiently recycle, collect trash, and dispose of waste, to design and construct County infrastructure and provide innovative solutions that maintain a high quality of life for residents and visitors of Talbot County.
Repurposing Center
The Talbot County Repurposing Center accepts unwanted asphalt, fill dirt, concrete, brick/block, wood chips and logs from over 200 Mid-Shore contractors, landscapers, and municipalities. The Center then repurposes this unwanted material into 25 usable products for sale back to the contractors and governments.
Roads
The Talbot County Roads Department is responsible for repair and maintenance of over 370 miles of County public roads. The work includes road patching/repair, maintenance of drainage structures and ditches, road resurfacing, sign maintenance, culvert installation, debris removal, mowing and snow removal.
Technology Services
Technology Services provides computing, network infrastructure, software application and related services, and technology support for County Departments and Facilities.
Tourism
The Office of Tourism markets and promotes Talbot County, highlighting the unique character and charm of the County.
