Recycling
Talbot County provides recycling services through participation in the Mid-Shore Regional Recycling Program (MRRP), with Queen Anne’s, Caroline, and Kent Counties. MRRP collects and recycles material each year.

What can be recycled at drop-off locations?
Cans: Aluminum, tin, steel, bi-metal, lids from jars
Paper: Newspapers, junk mail, carton board (such as cereal boxes), magazines, office paper
Plastics: All small containers and bottles with a # 1 (PET) or # 2 (HDPE) symbol on the bottom
Cardboard: Corrugated cardboard (flattened)
Glass: Food containers and beverage containers (bottles & jars) Leaving trash or recyclable materials on the ground is prohibited.
