At its February 24, 2026 meeting, the Talbot County Council reviewed the draft 2026–2030 Economic Development and Tourism Strategic Plan, received a clean FY25 audit report, and referred proposed zoning text amendments to the Planning Commission for further consideration. Council also advanced funding and infrastructure initiatives, made board appointments, supported community partnership efforts, and took action on state legislation impacting local public safety coordination.
