Any registered voter can vote. If you are not registered to vote, learn about how to register.

2026 Gubernatiorial Election

You can either vote in person during early voting or on election day or by mail-in ballot.

PRIMARY ELECTION

Early Voting

Thursday,  June 11, 2026 through Thursday, June 18, 2026. Each early voting center will be open continuously from 7 am to 8 pm each day. Anyone in line at 8 pm will be allowed to vote.

Election Day

Tuesday, June 23, 2026, you must vote at your assigned polling place. All election day polling places are open continuously from 7 am until 8 pm on. Anyone in line at 8 pm will be allowed to vote.

GENERAL ELECTION

Early Voting

Thursday,  October 22, 2026 through Thursday, October 29, 2026. Each early voting center will be open continuously from 7 am to 8 pm each day. Anyone in line at 8 pm will be allowed to vote.

Election Day

Tuesday, November 3, 2026, you must vote at your assigned polling place. All election day polling places are open continuously from 7 am until 8 pm on. Anyone in line at 8 pm will be allowed to vote.

Counting Ballots

Members of the local board meet to as the "local board of canvassers" to review and count mail-in
and provisional ballots. These meetings are known as "canvasses."

2026 Primary Canvas Dates

Mail-in Ballot Canvass Begins - Monday, June 1, 2026 at 9:30 a.m. 
    No results will be available until after 8:00 p.m. on election night.

Mail-In Ballot Canvass  Day 2* - TBD 

Mail-In Ballot Canvass  Day 3*-TBD

Early Voting Canvass - Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at 10 a.m. 
    Early Voting Results will not be available until after 8:00 p.m.

Mail In Ballot - Post Election Canvass Begins -Thursday, June 25, 2026 at 10 a.m.  

Provisional Ballot Canvass -Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at 10 a.m. 

Final Mail-In Ballot Canvass - Monday, July 6, 2026 at 10 a.m. 

Certification of the Election ** - Monday, July 6, 2026    

Risk Limiting Audit - TBD  Process may begin: Tuesday, July 14, 2026 *.  Deadline for completion: Tuesday, July 21, 2026 

* These dates are tentative.  Canvassing will continue on these dates only if a minimum number of ballots have been received for processing.  

** Certification will occur after all ballots have been canvassed and the verification of vote count is completed.  

No Election results will be available until after 8:00 p.m. on election night.
