Talbot County Parks & Recreation invites residents and community stakeholders to participate in a series of Parks & Recreation Plan Listening Sessions in March.

These sessions are part of the County’s update to its Land Preservation, Parks & Recreation Plan (LPPRP), a five-year strategic plan that guides the preservation, improvement, and expansion of parks, open space, trails, and recreational facilities throughout Talbot County. The Plan evaluates existing amenities and services, identifies community needs, and establishes priorities to strengthen access to recreation opportunities for residents across the county.

“Parks and recreation are vital assets for our community - from trails and fields to programs that connect families, neighbors, and visitors.” said Emily Gilmer, Talbot County Parks & Recreation Director. “Public input is a key part of the planning process and helps ensure that future investments align with community priorities.”
