Second Public Hearing Scheduled for Solar Facility to be Sited in Talbot County

Local residents and other interested members of the public are again invited to comment on a proposal by Halo Cordova LLC to construct a 4.0 MW solar generating facility in Talbot County. The hearing will take place on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. at the Fairfield by Marriott Inn & Suites, 8945 Sunflower Drive in Easton. The Public Service Commission has delegated this case to its Public Utility Law Judge Division; Public Utility Law Judge Amy E. Schaeffer will conduct the hearing. Read more

Local residents and other interested members of the public are invited to comment on a proposal by Crockett Solar l, LLC to construct a 61.2 MW solar facility in Talbot County. The hearing will take place on Thursday, November 7, 2024 at 7 p.m. before Chief Public Utility Law Judge Chuck McLean, at the Cordova Fire Department, 11864 Kittys Corner Road in Cordova.
