Library Encourages Citizens to Attend PNC Mobile Learning Adventure Program

Category: County Manager’s Office

The Talbot County Free Library encourages families to come out to Moton Park this weekend on Saturday, May 20th and Sunday, May 21st from 12-4PM for the PNC Mobile Learning Adventure.

The Mobile Learning Adventure (MLA) is a traveling exhibit that provides an opportunity for parents and caregivers to learn about the importance of early childhood education while they engage in fun activities with their children.

A part of PNC Grow Up Great, a $350 million, multi-year initiative began in 2004 to help children from birth to age 5 for success in school and life. This is the first time the experience is coming to Easton, Maryland.

The MLA leads families through 6 different educational activities. At the beginning of their adventure, families receive a Passport Book that guides them through the experience, earning sticker badges throughout the exhibit. Parents have the option to register their email address or phone number at the Photo Station to receive their child’s photo, digitally.

The Talbot County Free Library will be at the event, and encourages families to stop by their table.

This program has been brought to our community through the support of the Town of Easton. For more information about this program, please contact Discover Easton at or 410-690-7348.
