Talbot County Government recently recognized 29 employees for their dedication and commitment to public service during its annual Years of Service Awards. These awards honor employees who have reached milestones in their careers with the County.

County Manager Clay Stamp, accompanied by Council Member Lynn Mielke on behalf of the Council, presented the awards in person at each department, providing a chance to recognize employees and thank them for their service to the community.

“Talbot County Government is fortunate to have such a talented and committed workforce,” said Clay Stamp, County Manager. “These milestones reflect more than just years on the job…they represent countless hours of service, innovation, and dedication to our residents.”

The following Talbot County employees were honored: 30 Years of Service: Erin Davidson; 25 Years of Service: Ray Clarke, Mark Cohoon, Jeremy Cummings, Tommy Haddaway, Brian LeCates, Meg Stein, Jane Warrington; 20 Years of Service: Keith Dulin, Dwight Warrick, Jason Willey; 15 Years of Service: Brent Geib, Kenneth Rush; 10 Years of Service: Justin Aita, Andrew Blackwood, Kristy Conde, Lois Elder, Brent Garner, Kevin Layton, Heather Powell, Jared Royer, Steven Thomas, Joseph Timms; 5 Years of Service: Joseph Coale, Ciera Holland, Alan Hutchison, Rosalind Parker, Jordan Towers, Josh Willis.

“These employees exemplify the heart of public service,” said Council Member Lynn Mielke. “Their dedication and hard work make a real difference in the daily lives of our residents. We are honored to recognize their achievements and their devotion to duty. We thank them for their many contributions to Talbot County.”

The Talbot County Years of Service Awards are coordinated annually by the County Manager’s Office and Administrative Services teams.
