The Talbot County Council is seeking individuals for appointment to the County’s Public Works Advisory Board from Election District 5 of Talbot County, Maryland.

Interested applicants must be residents of Talbot County who have been qualified voters in District 5 (noted by image) for at least two (2) years. 

In accordance with Chapter §24-2. of the Talbot County Code, “The Public Works Advisory Board shall make recommendations to the Council relating to plans and policies on matters under the jurisdiction of the Department of Public Works and shall have such other functions and duties as may be provided by law. The Council may by resolution provide for reference to the Board for its review and recommendation of any matter related to the Board's functions and duties.”
