The Talbot County Council is pleased to announce the groundbreaking for the gymnasium expansion project at the Talbot County Community Center located at 10028 Ocean Gateway in Easton. Davis, Bowen & Friedel completed the architectural design work with the construction bid awarded to Willow Construction, LLC of Easton. Read more

Brookletts Place – Talbot Senior Center Parking Lot Expansion Project

Talbot County is pleased to announce the completion of the parking lot expansion project at Brookletts Place – Talbot Senior Center. Thirteen new parking spaces along with stormwater management features and new plantings were included with the capital project at a cost of approximately $230,000 which also included land acquisition costs, engineering, and permitting through the Town of Easton. Talbot County Gets High Bond Ratings from Fitch Ratings and Moody’s Investors Services

Talbot County received high bond ratings from both Fitch Ratings and Moody’s Investors Services in preparation for selling bonds on September 29, 2022 for the planning, design, acquisition, renovation, construction and furnishing of the new Public Safety Building and Health Department facility. Roads Department Expands Paving Efforts

Residents may notice a smoother ride while traveling along the County's backroads. More than two miles of new asphalt paving has been laid on Chapel Road, Deep Neck Road, and more recently Rest Circle since March 2021. Read more
